Our Founder
Michael Johnson was born in Mobile. Alabama and raised in Yarbo, Alabama, where he developed a passion for football from a young age. Excelling as a linebacker, he played for Jones County Junior College in Mississippi before transferring to Southeastern Louisiana University (SELU). At SELU, Michael continued to shine on the field while pursuing his academic goals, graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in General Studies.
Beyond athletics and academics, Michael Johnson is known for his dedication to community and fraternity. In the spring of 2017, he was honored with induction into the Chi Kappa Kappa chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated, a recognition that underscores his commitment to leadership and service.
Currently, Michael serves as a Restorative Practice Coordinator at a youth detention facility in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this role, he works passionately to provide guidance and support to young individuals, using his background in education and his personal experiences to make a positive impact in their lives. Michael Johnson continues to exemplify the values of leadership, education, and community service in everything he does.
